My Philosophy: To humbly give thanks every morning for waking up on top of the green stuff, for all the blessing I have in my life and for one more chance to try and get it right. Life is short so give thanks, and laugh.
My Daily Goal: To be more like my dogs, enthusiastic about all life has to offer, looking for every opportunity to play and glad to meet everybody that I am blessed to cross paths with. To work hard, to stay open to life's lessons.
My Mission: To be open to and hunger for the knowledge to become the best horseman that I can be. To be a better husband, son, dad, grandpa and loyal partner to my horses.
My Horsemanship: To do the best I can to preserve the dignity and respect of every horse that I am privileged to work with. To always use, promote and teach good basic, sound natural horsemanship techniques. To evaluate each clients understanding of their horses, so that they can become more empathetic, fair and respectful of their horses fears and instincts, by offering a soft gentle feel, and to develop a better partnership with their equine friends.
About Horseplay Horsemanship
Me personally: I have come to the inescapable conclusion that if we live positively, look only for the good, edify others, and try to leave this ole' world a little bit better for having passed this way, that providence will richly reward us by sending our way new experiences and adventures, as well as the riches of an ever expanding circle of folks you can call friends. I like to tell people "I give all you folks just starting out, 'HOPE". Because if someone as inexperienced and green as I was can become a decent hand with a horse, then anything is possible for you!
